My name is KING UCHE and I have a dream. I have a dream of a United Africa, a world where the new generation of African youths worldwide can feel like they belong. A world where they can see their dreams manifest, free of the bondage that most Africans face. That is why I started rapping and my independent record label, Sufferingsofferings.com, to connect to my brothers worldwide and present our talents to the world. With a mix between Nigeria and Miami, I will tell my story. I am your future African King of Rap and I aim to motivate people to be the best version of themselves that they can be.”

With a mix of Nigerian culture and the southern Flava from Miami, Florida USA. King Uche’s music tells a story of his struggles and successes both in the states and his native country of Nigeria. His music motivates his fellow youth to change their lives through the sheer power of their wills, just like him. King Uche will be the one to set a new pace and embolden the new age of afro-centric youth, both abroad and at home! What inspired you to write this release?
King Uche’s music tells a story of his struggles and successes both in the states and his native country of Nigeria. His music motivates his fellow youth to change their lives through the sheer power of their wills, just like him.

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?
at the start of my decision to become an Artist, I knew I wanted ownership of all my music. That’s why I created my own label, Sufferings and Offerings Music, to self distribute and push my content. I distribute and license my music via Tunecore. I market my content via a combination of social media ads, primarily Facebook and Instagram. I plan to incorporate Google ads when my first music video is released on 11/5 which will promote my first EP coming 11/11. In addition to these, I spent 1 year researching the industry and I’ve created my own network of playlist curators and social media influencers. I am a real businessman self-made person, unlike some artists who look for handouts.
Who have you been listening to lately?
I listen to a lot of Trap Music, especially Young Dolph, Gucci Mane, Nudy, etc. I like motivational music and I like hardcore trap music that makes me feel like John Gotti. The emotions they bring make me feel like I can battle anything in life, and that’s the same type of emotion I try to bring out of my Music.

Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Jay Z, Young Dolph, Skepta, Burna Boy, Popcaan, Davido
Tell us about your passions
I like being active. Outside sports and activities are my things! Living in Los Angeles now, I love to go hiking and do any type of outside sports. My main passion is to help people in General like a mentor. I’m a frontline worker and use my money to invest in my music. Also, I’ve recently started my Youtube channel which is already booming!
What else is happening next in your world?
My main plan is to blow up myself in America and use the power I get to go back to Africa and help indie artists there get some fame and independence. I have one artist right now from my home village in Nigeria. His name is Martins Luv and he will be the next biggest pop artist out of Africa!
