MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Established in 1981, on the West side of St. Paul where Robert and Cesar Chavez Streets meet, Westside Band performs regionally and nationally. Westside Band was a 2010 Mid-America Music Hall of Fame inductee and a 1985 Star Search winner. The band also received honors from The Minnesota Music Awards and The Minnesota Black Music Awards.

The band performs inspired covers and originals with a sound like Prince & Santana meet Jerry Lee and the Rolling Stones. They live for live, interactive performance.
The band has recorded several CD projects over the years, and just released a new CD “Chillin with 4 originals: Chillin, Love You in the Morning, My Lady and Take My Hand.

Westside Band is seeking national tour opportunities. The band is able to supply full production/pa/lights if needed, and travels with a tour bus and equipment truck.
