The Protege’s “Watch Me” Available Now

New Single Out Now

Clarksville, Tennessee – September 23, 2017 – Clarksville, TN – Mental health in the hip-hop community hasn’t so much been a stigma, but it was a note often ignored by its artists. That is until the likes of Logic and Kid Cudi opened the doors to the conversation. Now The Protege is planning on keeping that conversation going with his music, including his latest single, “Watch Me.”

“Watch Me” follows The Protege’s March 2017 EP, Fighting Fate. Available on iTunes, Fighting Fate is 10 tracks deep and covers an array of emotions while sticking to the subject close to the rapper’s heart – mental illness. He wants to stand alongside Logic and the others in the hip-hop community as someone not afraid to tackle this subject, but rather someone who is always willing to shine a light on it.

The Protege notes, “I want to continue to make music for people that helps them realize they are not alone in fighting mental illness and dealing with adversity.”

He will do that with his EP and latest single, “Watch Me.” Those interested in adding “Watch Me” to their playlists, or speaking with The Protege about his musical mission can get in touch via the information provided below.
