New York, — September 30, 2017 — Kanacept has released debut album recently. Kanacept is a flute quartet that performs a unique hybrid between classical and jazz. Kanacept album has been already reviews by The Walker’s, well-know jazz magazine in Japan, Skope Magazine, and played five songs at WNYC-FM, one of the New York radio station since its releasing June 2016.
Since the band leader Kana Miyamoto has influenced by a rock flute player Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, Kanacept carries jazz rock sound. So many of rock listener gets interested in. Kanacept has been performing venues such as Shape Shifter Lab, Bonafide, Tomi Jazz, Nublu those years.
