New York — Friday, May 7th, 2021 — Old School Rap Artist Don BIGO, known in the ’90s as M.C. Bam Bam, as his 48 years continue with his career as an m.c. rapper and music producer. Today, he is working on the most important product of his life in music, KING. An old school rapper from the ’90s coming with rhythms and bangs as the hip hop style to bring a message to humanity. With his concept and love for art and culture, he still continues to bring us good music with a positive message and thoughts. He promises a trip to the world of knowledge and “musica de barrio”.
The artist is working on his new album with the title, KING, a new album after the quarantine of the Covid 19 pandemic, as always with a positive message, mixing his unique style with different rhythms and real lyrics as he always is reciting us in every one of his songs. Don BIGO, a regular man, living in the North Philadelphia area, where he lives day by day, the life and reality of the streets and violence, drugs, and poor, the eyes of the beholder, the voice of the silent, the ears of the deaf. All writing in lyrics, burning pencil and notebooks in the human style, like an old machine that still worked and more than yesterday.
At the beginning of the ’90s, rap and hip hop music were used to introduce to our people the problems in our society and the way to resolve them. It was used as a way of protest, lifestyle, and a way to advise our youth and people. The radio industry wasn’t so happy about it because of the idea that Spanish Hip Hop was only for the streets. Today, even with the opposition of people who weren’t believing in the culture, rap Latino music has been able to spend and evolve to different styles like today is Reggaeton, Trap, Dembow. etc.
In this his last album, before he retires to start studying theology to become an episcopal deacon, Don BIGO promise to always bring the music people like without going out of the hip hop culture. “Sometimes we have to give people what they want, the important is that the message gets through”: Don BIGO tells us with a wise and knowing look in his humble studio located in North Philadelphia. As always, we will be waiting for the date the album will be released to let you know before the premiere.
In conclusion, this project is one of the most important projects in his career as if it were his last, and his goal is to send the message to others, the truth, what we are living today and the only way that we as humanity can confront it is by spreading the word and fixing it as a whole.
