The Jones Family Singers Bring a Contemporary Flair to the Gospel Scene
Uplifting Music Commissioned From Above
Houston, Texas – October 7, 2017 – The ensemble that makes up The Jones Family Singers is an array of believers who feel they were commissioned to carry a sound cargo of calvary to the masses through song. Which they have been doing for some time and will continue to do with the release of their upcoming album The Gospel Journey.
Led by Bishop Fred A.Jones Sr. and Alexis Jones-Giles, The Jones Family Singers have spread their word throughout 42 of the 50 states, as well as in several countries overseas. Appearing on the bill of the most notable festivals out there, this grand ensemble has played SXSW, Houston IFest, and Mega-Fest. They have even appeared on various TV programs over the years, including specials on PBS. Next on their list of plans is to do a reality show based on their gospel, as well as heading back overseas.
With the release of their upcoming album, The Gospel Journey, The Jones Family Singers want to continue to deliver their sound to the masses. Reaching them through song and uplifting them as they go, that is what gives them pure joy. Featuring “Be Alight” and “I Can See The Sunshine,” the project will gain an additional three songs in the near future.
The Jones Family Singers have been featured in Rolling Stone, Houston Chronicle, Noisey/Vice, Texas Music Magazine, New York Music Daily, Austin Chronicle, and Flea Market Funk.
