Austin, Texas – April 21, 2020 – John Hairston is many things, an author, philosopher, and an EDM artist otherwise known as TFMOM (The Free Mind of Mine). This year TFMOM has impressed many by not just dropping one album but two; ‘The Estate’ and ‘The Estate: Caput Duo.’
Released in 2020, both albums present a layered electronic performance throughout that puts TFMOM in the same lane as artists such as Zomboy and Datsik. Together, the albums present almost 30 tracks that do their part to vibe with the ever-changing culture that is EDM. When TFMOM approaches music, he comes from a place that is meant to express a more infinite psychological expression within music. Songs such as “Manhood,” “Sublime Stasis,” and “Back Hur” are prime examples of just that.
Again, music is not the only creative outlet for this Jack of all trades. An author as well, Hairston released an explorative collective titled ‘The Nature of Mankindë: Volumë 4: A Compendium of Essays on the Nature of Mankindë’ that covers a myriad of topics from a philosophical standpoint. ‘The Nature of Mankindë: Volumë 4: A Compendium of Essays on the Nature of Mankindë’ is available on Amazon now.
