Morris Taylor was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. The youngest of four siblings, Morris was always a shy child with a budding adventurous side and would thoroughly enjoy being in front of a crowd. When he was seven years old, he would be tapping out beats on the kitchen table and was always inclined towards rhythms.

A promising musician, Morris taught himself how to play guitar and continued to galvanize his passion for music. The artist- who is often compared to the likes of Jimi Hendrix- also has extensive experience playing in a few bands overseas in Japan, as well as in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Dallas. Hopeful that someone recognizes his potential and opens a new door for him to flourish, he remains intent on exploring his life story.

“What I bring to the table is many styles of music. Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Easy Listening, Christan and R&B are some of the genres I drift between,…playing live is what I enjoy most about being a musician, as that is where the magic happens,” says the artist regarding his music.
