Soundtrack Composer Drops New Adventurously Peppy EP

Hyderabad, Telangana, India — September 6th, 2021 — Acclaimed Indian composer Cecil V is excited to announce the release of his fiery electronic EP titled Plena Ignis (Latin for ‘full of fire’), to be available on streaming platforms on the 6th of September 2021.

Mastered by Paul Ashmore and Nick Burchall of Audio Animals (whose credits include the likes of Judas And The Black Messiah and Frozen 2 among others), Plena Ignis contains seven tracks, ranging from trance, through techno and house, to dance-pop.

Plena Ignis has been scheduled to be available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, YouTube, Tidal, Amazon Music, and Saavn, on the 6th of September, 2021.

In the works during the major part of 2020, Cecil V regards Plena Ignis as a homecoming in more ways than one, with the EP serving to channel the adrenaline through restlessness to hope. Says Cecil, “Plena Ignis is my ode to the joys of old, my tribute to the resilience of the present, and to hope that we will meet again renewed. Were it not for the memories of old friends, or for the unceasing faith placed in me by the family that drove me all the way, the EP would never have been released.”

A four-time Global Music Awards recipient, and rated among the top-twenty composers by the Oticons International Agency in 2018, Cecil V has, for the first time, released an EP independently, with emphasis upon creativity and experimentation, while dwelling within the mainstream realm.

Do be ready for a sonic adventure on the 6th of September 2021 when Plena Ignis drops onto streaming platforms.

ABOUT

Cecil Vineet Abhishek, who also goes by the monikers Cecil V and Cecil V Abhishek, is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and engineer. He started playing the piano at the age of three – which continues to be his main instrument – and since then has gone on to perform various other instruments – notably the flute. He has worked as an additional composer and orchestrator for films such as ‘Tiger Zinda Hai (2017)’, ‘Bharat (2019)’, ‘Sye Raa Narasimhaa Reddy (2019)’ and ‘Housefull 4 (2019)’, and has written and produced the one song (‘En Avey Nef Alore’) for the Spanish Animated short ‘Palomitas (2018)’ which won the award for ‘Best Original Music’ at the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival. A four-time Global Music Awards recipient, Cecil was named among the top-20 young international composers by the Oticons International Film Scoring Agency in 2018.
