Songwriter David Voegeli Opens Up About His Work
Easy Listening Music for Lazy Days That Relax
Georgetown, Ontario, Canada – April 8th, 2016 – Originally from Cromer in the United Kingdom, David Voegeli first started in the music world playing in his local the school band and choir. Voegeli’s song-writing talent is showcased in his wide range of easy listening songs.
“It was a trumpet that started my love affair off,” explains Voegeli. “Later, I’d play cornet in the Royal Air Force, followed by a Jazz band. It was when I moved to Canada that I really started to work with other musicians. Including Jimmy Roland and Tim Foley. Now the electronic age is leading us all to create new things—it’s almost non-stop!”
Voegeli’s latest release is a collection of material first written 15 years ago and recorded on a four track tape recorder—now they have been recorded and re-released on CD.
“It’s funny, really,” says Voegeli. “Tim called me up to tell me one song was almost done. I went around, and he had hooked his keyboard up to the printer. As he pressed out the keys, the music charts came out. It was quite amazing!”
Since the Album Voegeli has composed and recorded a single titled Nashville Tennessee. Voegeli’s music can be found on CD Baby, Broadjam and Taxi Music.
