New York City, New York – January 24, 2017 – Mario M. began his career in the early ‘90s shining as the founder, lead singer and songwriter for rock band Vogue’s Rogues. After that he went onto release a few Latin pop/rock solo albums, with two more on the way this year, but not before focusing attention on his Alternative Christian rock project, Society’s Soul and its’ debut album, the concept album Soulscream.
Society’s Soul is a one-man show with Mario M. at the forefront delivering thought provoking and inspirational lyrics that will surely resonate with fans of Switchfoot and Lifehouse. Especially the latest single, the spoken word track “Prayer for the Faceless,” which Society’s Soul will release on January 27, 2017. This single is for charity, of which all profits will be donated to Mercy Corps, a charity whose work Mario feels is in the same vein of the song. In a nutshell, this song is a great representation of what Society’s Soul is all about. It’s a song that captures the essence of Society’s Soul, and is a jumping off point in letting fans know where he stands in this world, both musically and as a part of society.
“Prayer for the Faceless” is the fourth single off Soulscream and continues to show Society’s Soul to be an ever present force and voice in music for the faceless and the voiceless. Following the single’s release, fans can be on the lookout for another single this Spring, and a new album to come this Fall.
