Sweden — April 2, 2017 — He’s been writing music since he was 9. He went to the finals in a big Swedish music-competition playing on one of the big scenes in Gothenburg. Now, at 34 – after 10 years of total abscence from music – he is finally ready to let his work see the light of day, packaged in an LP of 15 emotional singer-songwriter songs about the struggles in his life.
If you like well-written songs with strong and catchy melodies and emotional, storytelling lyrics bound together in classic songwriting structures you should definitely take a look at Smisch’s work.
Smisch has also told that he has more material ready to be produced and released, both old and new, showing that he intends to take a place as a singer-songwriter to expect results from in the future.
Apart from writing the songs he is also singing and playing most of the instruments on the LP proofing him to be a creative mind in production as well as very driven as a musician.
“It’s tough competition out there with a lot of great musicians – I cross my fingers that I can come close to measure myself with them and the things they’ve achieved”, Smisch
“Smisch shows that Swedes don’t do things by half measures”, RadioWigWam
“Listen to this brilliant new artist”, Ralph Mueller (Ralphys Music of the World)
Smisch is ready to take the next step with his musical career after a lifetime of waiting for his music to be released. Now he’s hoping that he can reach the ears of listeners who tend to like his kind of music.
