As a survivor of childhood abuse, Jasmine uses the intimacy of chamber music with an ominous cold truth of how difficult and conflicting it is to heal from mistreatment.
Casting a haunting, ethereal sound, over a storytelling style reminiscent of Kate Bush, told over a refined Tori Amos acoustic piano, combines to make a delicately disturbing combination of storytelling and composition.
