Berwick, PA USA — June 3, 2017 — Rose Ostrowski of Berwick, PA might only be 12 years old but her passion and devotion for singing and recording music shows signs of a much older individual. The young talent is proud to announce the release her third single, a rendition of ‘Your Words’. All of the proceeds from purchasing the single will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a charity that is determined to find a cure for cystic fibrosis, the disease that took her cousin back in 2012.
‘Your Words’ was originally released by the band Third Day in 2015. The song by the Christian rock band caught Rose’s attention during her latest mall tour and she immediately knew that it must be her next single for her to record.
“I heard the song and immediately loved it. I knew that it was the song that could be changed up a little bit to match what I had planned for it in my head and it all worked out”, she said.
Ostrowski worked with Bill Leverty on the single. Leverty, a well known producer, recording engineer and guitarist for the band FireHouse, heard the song for the first time and fell in love with the way that Ostrowski had sung it at one of her shows.
Leverty said, “Rose has an amazing tone and command of her voice. Most of all, she sings with great emotion and nuance. I would characterize her vocal talent as exceptional. Her performance of ‘Your Words’ is absolutely stunning.”
He honored Ostrowski’s request to create a unique spin on the song, using more of a contemporary electronic production. With that, he mixed in plenty of Ostrowski’s harmonies and the end result is very impressive to say the least.
Ostrowski’s version of the song is available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby Google Play, Spotify and just about any digital music download provider.
Prior to the release of ‘Your Words’, Rose released a cover of The Beatles hit ‘Let it Be’ in 2012. Two years later she went on to record a cover of Tesla’s ‘Life is a River’. In both cases, all of the song download proceeds went to the foundation. In 2015 she kicked off her first annual “Adding Tomorrows” Mall Tour, and she recently finished her second annual tour, which benefited the same cause.

Rose Ostrowski is a twelve year old seventh grader from Berwick, PA. Starting at very early age, Rose loved to sing and surprisingly, back then, it was music from Phantom of the Opera. At eight years old, Rose’s parents thought that it would be different and neat for their daughter to record a song. What was originally just for fun grew into an ongoing project for Rose- her willingness to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) while doing something that she loves. Now, her project has been ongoing for nearly 5 years, which also includes her ‘Adding Tomorrows’ Mall Tour to help raise donations for the foundation. Plus, the tour also helps Ostrowski gain plenty of performance experience..
