San Francisco, CA – September 3rd, 2015 – It’s not every day that a band manages to create a unique sound that’s a blend of the Smashing Pumpkins and the Cowboy Junkies, but Recharge Melting has achieved it.
Recharge Melting’s self-titled debut album has been released through major online distributors—any fans of rock with a psychedelic, emo vibe will surely be delighted.
“We’re all about the sound,” said drummer, Ben Kaplan. “All of them rock, thanks to our original college initiation, but since we formed it has become more or less alt rock with a soul. Whether that’s crowd surfing to What I Like or relaxing to Moon Milk, there’s a little something for everyone who enjoys great music on our album.”
Recharge Melting has already met with success on radio, enjoying live appearances on UC Berkeley’s KALX and University of San Francisco’s KUSF, which led to nationwide college radio airplay through promoters Planetary Group.
About Recharge Melting
Formed by classmates at Albion College, MI, the band started out as party rock, before mellowing into a more progressive rock/emo sensibility after their move to San Francisco. Subsequent airplay has led to the band’s growing popularity and their debut album.
