He has been in the music industry professionally for more than 6 years but has been doing music and practicing the arts for over 20years.
During his journey, he got in contact with his childhood friend about 10 years back, Antonio “CussWrd” Harry. This encounter gave birth to their first debut single titled T.I.U. It was produced by west coast superstar “Dj Mustard”. However, after a few years of being misled, misguided, and naïve, the group parted ways.
Due to his resilience, he linked up with Brad “Daddy X” Xavier frontman of the legendary hip hop band KMK who’s also responsible for bringing out acts like Gwen Stefani and international Jamaican superstar Marlon Asher. Upon meeting X the opportunities were abundant and he couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nevertheless, certain aspects of his life still weren’t adding up to what he envisioned. Mentally, he was traumatized and filled with experiences like a childhood friend being murdered by police officers right in front of him and not being able to do anything about it. But, he never gave up. He decided to make the best of the rest of his life. In 2019, he peacked the DRT Charts at number #15
After spending most of 2020 recovering from his emotional woes and linking back up with his long-time friend and meeting this talented young kid named Sam 5 a.m. Fulton, they have formed what will soon be known as ninety1west.net. Nevertheless, on may 10th Cusswrd will drop his first single on the label followed by his ep titled screenshots & Broken phones.
