New Solo Artist, ‘Maybe Knot’, Writes, Records, Mixes, and Publishes his first EP ‘Prologue’

Clearwater, Florida — July 27th, 2021 — New solo artist, “Maybe Knot”, released his first EP on June 30, 2021. The EP is titled “Prologue” and features five brand new songs from the artist. It is now able to be streamed and/or purchased on all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Itunes, Amazon, and many others.

For fans of alternative, alt-rock, or indie, this new artist is a good choice for fresh music. Maybe Knot likes to write alternative and indie rock music that makes for easy listening and relaxing.

Thomas Chappell, the musician behind Maybe Knot, explains his recording process. He says that he always begins his songs by writing some kind of chord progression or melody on guitar, then begins to think of parts for other instruments such as bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals. Thomas writes and plays all of the parts himself and says he enjoys being independent because it gives him “a sense of completion” and gives him an independent creative outlet.

Although Thomas has enjoyed writing and producing music on his own, it has made it very difficult to gain traction as an artist. Many independent artists experience this same issue. However, Thomas claims that even though his music has not gained a lot of popularity or success “it has been an incredible learning experience” and that “in the future, I will be able to achieve more because I made mistakes early on”.

In conclusion, Thomas is proud of his progress with Maybe Knot. He says that his listeners can expect more music and maybe someday can see him live.
