New Country Singer Ryan Morgan Sings About A Breakup In His Latest Single

Kentucky — Saturday, November 14th, 2020 — Country singer Ryan Morgan sings his heart out in his latest single “Don’t Wanna”. We sat down with Ryan to get a little bit of insight on what influenced this song. “I’ve been in love before and I’ve had my heart broken before” Ryan states. “You go from having everything that you want and then it all slips away in the blink of an eye.”

Ryan says that his favorite kind of music is music with a story. When he sits down to write a song, he begins with a story to tell. “That’s why I love country music, or just music in general. Getting to see inside of someone else’s story is fascinating to me.” He says. “Music that you can relate to is the best kind of music.”

We talked to Ryan about country stars that have influenced him, and he says, “You know, all of them. If I’ve heard a song and it connected with me, I was influenced by it.” Ryan says that its not just any particular artist that has influenced him. He did mention a few names like Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and Brad Paisley. “Just about every song that those guys have put out, I still rock out to.”

“I was in the studio recording another song and when we took an hour break, I started picking at the guitar and came up with this beautiful melody.” He says. “This song came out of me so naturally, I had the whole thing written in an hour.” Ryan took his idea to Nashville producer Jason Early who brought it to life.
