Fort Wayne, Indiana – March 18, 2020 – Raised in the Twin Cities, MacQuillie has always found solace in music. Which is why he’s set out to create music people are not only intrigued by but can relate to on his latest EP, ‘Anti-Depressant.’
‘Anti-Depressant’ is the latest endeavor from the Indiana-based rapper who, while a hip hop artist, doesn’t like to be pigeonholed into one genre. He notes, “ I don’t like to label or limit myself to one genre because I enjoy making music for all people,” adding, “I feel that it allows me to explore the different genres to reach a more broad fan base.” So while ‘Anti-Depressant’ may sit on the shelves next to the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa, don’t think it’s not for everyone.
MacQuillie was introduced to music at a young age. That instilled in him a sense of maturity and with it, his mentality grew much faster than his peers. Passionate since day one about his craft, he worked on his skills daily since he was just a kid and the results have shown immensely in the current results.
From his struggles to his strengths, ‘Anti-Depressant’ captures it all and then some. Currently, he has plans to be on the road for over a month; from Minneapolois to Los Angeles starting May 17th.
