Local punk-metal band explodes in to the recording scene

Traverse City, Michigan — Monday, March 1st, 2021 — Local punk-metal band, User-friendly Killer Robots, (UKR) are now in the studio for the third time with their sophomore self-titled album, UKR.

Working with an audio engineer, Andy Vanguilder, at AV Studios, UKR is hitting the tape hard. They just finished their “scratch tracks” and are now going to be recording their finished tracks in the coming weeks. They have a very fast and aggressive sound that somehow grooves and entities the ear to want more. With front-man, Norr, the lyrical composition is hard-hitting and poignant.

UKR has it down to a science. They come into the studio, set up, then bang out track after track and they all sound really good.

These guys have put their time in at practice and it shows through their music. They are very genuine about their music and also very good-natured with each other and you can tell there is a great chemistry within the band.

User-friendly Killer Robots, (UKR) are a three-piece punk-metal band based out of Traverse City Michigan. They combine hard chunky riffs, grooving bass lines, and sweet melodies, that entice the ear to want more. The band formed in 2008 with two brothers Norr (frontman) and Trevor (drummer).
