King Jase Brings The Heat Out Of Arkansas By Signing A 2-Year Record Deal With Sony’s “The Orchard”

Van Buren, Arkansas-July 24, 2021- Local rapper, Jason Scott who goes by the stage name King Jase, went viral all over the world after releasing his debut single “Isolate” and gets a gold plaque for his second single “Safehouse”. Hailing from Van Buren, which has a population two times smaller than his fans, King Jase acquired out of state listeners and followers on social media through his use of words and beat selection, before he was even heard in his home state, and is now opening up to his home state to be recognized.

“Nothing is a for sure thing, and I didn’t want to count my blessings before being blessed, ya know? I guess when somebody such as myself, comes from a small town with the biggest hopes and dreams, the limelight really does seem way far out of reach, this remaining a dream. I had that dream. I had that vision. I really just stopped caring about what people thought of me, and how they would perceive me if I were to get on a track and spit some otherworldly bars.”

“Nobody knows this really, but I have been making music for 11 years this year. I was 15 when I began, and OH MY GOD, I do understand why I received the shi*** comments and negative feedback I received; I didn’t put anything into them except something I call ‘money words’, or, lyrics that make no sense about really, anything, haha. It took taking a 10-year break, losing almost everybody in my life, and meeting death to get it right. I finally did though, and I know my Mom would be proud if she were alive, and still with me here.” Said, King Jase.

With King Jase averaging 30+ hours per week in his home studio, he has been improving and perfecting his own style, while still producing his own beats, and mastering his own tracks, King Jase is now on the Billboard Top 200 and has a global ranking as a rap artist of 163 as of the date this was written. Now, that’s impressive.

Not only is that impressive, but King Jase has also made some of the best music of his specific genre TO-DATE, even coming up with a personal genre he calls ‘Trip Hop’, which is a mixture of Rap, Hip Hop, and Trap sounds all compiled to one.

At the age of 26, King Jase is beginning to take over the entire southwest, being played most in Alabama. Still an independent artist, for now, there is serious potential in King Jase, as well as talent; He’s making sure to use it to the fullest extent he can.

Jason Scott, aka King Jase, hasn’t been on the rap/ hip hop scene actively until recently when one single night changed his perspective and opened up his creativity. “It’s hard to explain the experience; Although frightening, it was something I needed. It’s what made me who I am today,” said King Jase when asked how he felt the night of his overdose that ultimately led to his success. Otherwise known as Jason Scott was born and raised in Van Buren, Arkansas. King Jase was born February 02, 1995, at 09:11 a.m. to April Jeffcoat (mother) and Jason Scott (father). Neither were in his life until adulthood and even after his father was rarely there. Being raised by his great grandmother, Virginia Jeffcoat, she ensured King Jase followed a correct path and not a crooked one. King Jase liked trouble as a teen, having caught 16 felonies in one night and over 36 felonies and 74 misdemeanours as a teen. As an adult, King Jase began his music career and stopped getting in trouble. He is currently managed by Jamal Franklin (Money Nation Management) and is signed to Sony Orchard, SM1.
