Morrow, Georgia – May 5, 2020 – K Marie got her start in 2018 when she released her debut, ‘I Am Me.’ 10-tracks deep, ‘I Am Me’ set the bar and each and every time K Marie has come out of the gate with something after, she’s raised it and then some. With two more singles to her name, including “Useless,” she is dead set on making her presence known not only in the R&B realm, but around the world.

As a kid there wasn’t a hairbrush in sight that wasn’t utilized as K Marie’s mic as she took the “stage” time and time again in her bathroom. By the age of six, her family heard her natural gift and signed her up for the gospel choir. It was there she learned how to control her voice, perform, and shine. After that, she went on to steal the show at talent shows in both middle and high school. Finally in 2018, all her hard work came fruition with the release of her debut, ‘I Am Me.’

Since then K Marie has dropped two more singles, including her latest “Useless” but is always working on her next move. That includes diving deeper into the acting world. A performer from the start, K Marie just doesn’t want to sing, she wants to be one of Hollywood’s leading triple threats as a singer, performer, and actor. She has already laid down the foundation for two, now she’s looking for opportunities to grow in acting as well.

I just drop my single useless by K Marie a few months ago which is available on all platforms like amazon iTunes google play YouTube music Apple Music &spotify

What inspired you to write this release?

My useless single – I wrote the song useless cuz I had a best friend that claims he was my friend in played me like a fool he was barely responding to my texts in calls so the song was bout him when someone is acting funny in playing games they’re being so useless

Describe the writing and recording process

it took me 3 days to finish writing the song cuz I had to listen to the beat 10 times or more to think bout what I write & how I want the song to sound & it also took me bout 3 hours to record the song in the studio

As of right now no I don’t have any shows coming up

As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there?

Well I keep pushing myself in keep pushing so I can get to where I need to be in I promote my music on YouTube in Instagram a lot I got almost 5k on one of my music videos

Who have you been listening to lately?

My favorite artist is Meghan theestallon I love her music Beyoncé I love her music to I always seen myself working with Beyoncé I just love her personality a lot

I don’t know

Music is my passion but I always told myself if the music thing doesn’t work Out then I’m trying to get into acting that’s something I always wanted to do & I have a big crush on Jensen Ackles he is so cute my biggest dream is to meet him in person in beable to do a collab with him

What else is happening next in your world?

Well right now I’m just relaxing I don’t have anything happening at this moment
