Joyce Spencer Releases New Single, "Cherish" In Memory Of Her Late Mother, a COVID-19 Victim
Dallas, TX — Monday, April 12th, 2021 — Award-winning independent recording artist Joyce Spencer releases a new single from her upcoming album, “Hidden Treasures”. “Cherish” was written by Joyce Spencer and smooth jazz chart producer, Jeff Canady. The single is available at all digital providers.
Joyce Spencer is a saxophonist, flutist, singer, songwriter, and composer who has mesmerized audiences with her versatility and ease to adapt to many styles of music that brings comfort, encouragement, and consolation especially during difficult times.
Joyce is already receiving positive feedback from radio stations and fans. “Play on Joyce. Love Cherish…The Memories. “Cherish” is Joyce’s first single release from her upcoming album, “Hidden Treasures”. After losing her Mother to COVID-19 in 2020, she found a way to express her grief and “Cherish” the memories of her Mother. She hopes it brings comfort to all those who have lost loved ones as well.
Joyce received a bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education where she also studied saxophone and flute, classical and jazz music and theory, theater, and radio and TV broadcasting. She also participated in the college choir, stage plays, and musicals. After a brief period with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra on flute, Joyce moved from Louisiana to Texas where her career shifted to corporate America; however, she returned with sheer determination in 2010 with her first album, “Sweet Dreams”.
