The “Musician’s Producer”
Oakland, California – April 6, 2016 – James Tall aka Jam’G can do anything he sets his mind to do, and he’s continued to prove that since opening his own recording studio over a quarter of a century ago. When he’s not mixing for other artists, he’s creating his own music that he says is music “that needs to be heard and seen.”
Growing up in a family where music was never not around, James found his way to it early on and 8-years-old he picked it up with the help of of a Chicago instructor by the name of George Lee Sr. From there he found his passion for performing and that continued to follow him throughout his life. From the Windy City to the Navy, he joined a jazz quintet for Admiral Moore of the 6th Fleet where he entertained the troops.
After his time serving the United States of America was up, he headed to California. Once there he began performing in and around San Francisco. Come 1990 he opened up Jam’G Productions studio and has been doing his own thing. Now he’s ready for the rest of the world to hear not only his soulful melodies, but his work on the guitar, keyboard and drums.
