Singer-Songwriter with a “Superwoman” Voice
Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India – November 3, 2016 – While most don’t know what their future holds until they’re adults, Ira Sharma differs. Not even old enough to drive a car where she was born in Colorado, Ira is a teen with her eyes on the prize. Already she’s been the voice behind 94.3 Radio One’s theme “Superwoman,” performed everywhere from Delhi to Hollywood, and even sang as part of Voices during season one and two, winning the first prize in both the seasons. Next up, this genre bender is looking to release her full length debut.
Ira notes of her style, “I like creating music of different types of genres as I am a versatile artist and cannot just stick to one style of music and keep creating songs in that same genre,” adding, “I like creating music based on different themes and different messages that I get from the world with which people can relate to, or people can get inspired to do something or to achieve something.” She tosses everything into what she does be it pop, R&B and even some electronics. Sharma sets no limits as one can hear on her recent releases, “So Long” and “Best Found Treasure.”
With one EP under her belt, she will add to that with this full length where she is promising 10 tracks of various styles and themes. After its release she’ll focus on getting out there and connecting with listeners by way of touring.
Ira Sharma is an impeccable singer-songwriter who has performed in different geographies with her music that ranges from pop to R&B. Currently she is working on her debut full length.
