Starchild is a Los Angeles based, Indie Pop singer-songwriter who is transitioning from the world of acting, into the world of music. With a fresh perspective on the human mind, body, and soul, this witchy-pop singer brings poetry, the cosmos, occult literature, and peace and love, back to the realms of modern music. He is on a mission to shift the culture out its obsession with materialism and egotism, into a world of divine Gnosticism. A mystic and philosopher at heart, he plans to save the world by reviving the spirit of the ’60s and pioneering the new renaissance age that will be the path to the new world.

Starchild was born and raised in the bottom pits of the “City of Angels”. Born, Marcus Apollo Alvarado, to a hardworking middle-class family in Norwalk, California, the hometown of 1980’s teen pop sensation, “The Mall Queen”, Tiffany.
