Green review

Francis Elmira Jackson

Glendale, AZ — This album was originally a demo album titled “Where Were You 2021” and it was released on SoundCloud in August 2020 before the release of the official debut album titled “Melrose”. “Where Were You 2021” has been revamped as a follow-up to “Melrose” and has been re-titled after a favorite color, green. The album has 11 tracks, including three new songs- “Eighteen”, “Medicine” and “Killer in a Dress”, and the 2019 demo recording of Green`s lead single, “Trell and Al”. The entire record has been described as a “prequel to Melrose”.

Some LGBTQ people likes the album because there are some tracks that they could relate to, like the dance-inspired track “I Wanna Kiss A Guy” and the jazz-influenced track, “Everyday Love”. The favorite track off the album is “Killer in a Dress” because it pays homage to Michael Jackson`s 1988 single “Smooth Criminal”. They can find the new album on YouTube, Bandcamp, and Audiomack.  The album will be released on Bandcamp December 18, 2021.

A personal quote for the album and (The Franktrellian Pugs) is: “If you get heart broken by a crush who doesn`t want to be in a relationship with you, express through art and music, then just move on with your life and have fun!”

Just like the previous album, Melrose, the album was recorded in the bedroom with a keyboard and voice recorder. After the songs were recorded, they were edited on the CyberLink Power Director software.

The new album, Green, is a follow-up to Melrose and will be released on BandCamp December 18, 2021. The album was originally a demo album titled Where Were You 2021 and has been revamped as a second studio album with three new songs and a 2019 demo recording of “Trell and Al” Green is inspired by one-sided relationships and unrequited love, addition to making it in the music industry.

The album will inspire transgender women and LGBTQ people to express their feelings about a break-up or unrequited love through art and music.
