Franco Wesson’s debut Dark Lab Tapes is a breath of fresh air for music producers and recording artists.

Atlanta, Georgia — Monday, June 14th, 2021 — Franco Wesson has taken a different approach than most recording artists that produce their own music. He decided that after he released his debut single, ‘Silent’. He was going to create a full instrumental album that focused on eliciting emotions from the listeners and to target film and television. His debut album DARK LAB TAPES provides a series of genres such as ambient, trap, hip-hop, punk, grunge, alternative rock, Latin jazz, and acoustic.

Each track brings a great vibe and takes the listener on an emotional rollercoaster to dig deep in themselves and break out their creativity. Along with entering the emotional plane through the listeners’ ears and into their minds, each track inspires artists to start rapping over the song on the spot. Within just two weeks of being released, the Detroit native has acquired independent film placements for 2 songs off of his project. With his independent release through his independent label, Stranger Wesson Records and distribution with United Masters, Franco Wesson is already sending his shots to become a force to be reckon with in the music industry.. The project is available on all platforms including Spotify, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Tidal, and YouTube.

“During the pandemic I was unable to get into a studio so I decided that I would create a full instrumental album to maintain relevancy after the buzz I was receiving with my single, ‘Silent’. I wanted to not only target recording artists to purchase beats from me but I wanted to target music supervisors for film and television placements as well. Because I believed that my music and this project would do what it was set out to do and that’s elicit emotion in people as well as tap into their creativity similar as to how it tapped into mine and using the emotions and situations that I was going through during the time it took to create this project. I spent 6 months creating this off of my phone and decided that it was time to share it with the world before I drop another vocal project.”

Franco Wesson is firing off his first round with his project, Dark Lab Tapes, through his independent label Stranger Wesson Records, and setting the stage for his name to heard throughout the underground all the way to the mainstream.

ABOUT

Born and raised in Detroit. He spent most of his time alone. He found his inspiration and creativity through watching films and television everyday after school. At age 15 he started making music and expressing any emotion, situation and thoughts that came into his mind on paper. He presented everything that he felt where he could be completely honest with music and the process for him was therapeutic. His music is a reflection of every emotion he feels that cam be presented without judgement and worry of what people would think.
