Chicago Artist & TV Star: KT Rasta, Is Back Again With New Music.

Chicago, IL — Sunday, May 16th, 2021 — Rising Chicago actor & music artist: KT Rasta hails from the Englewood neighborhood, the same rough area as Chicago’s Lil Durk & Famous Dex in Southside, Chicago, IL. KT went to high school with NBA stars Derrick Rose, Jabari Parker, & Kendrick Nunn at Simeon Career Academy High. Growing up in one of the nation’s worst neighborhoods during the self-proclaimed “Chiraq” Era, KT would find peace in writing songs about his daily struggles with hopes to someday make an impact that would change things for the better. After getting a robbery jail charge dropped in 2013, the Chicago Native would soon began to take music more seriously.

Being on the music scene for a few years now, Rasta amassed over 1.5 Millions of music streams across different web platforms (Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify), and his fanbase is growing tremendously each day. He has also gained much notoriety & publicity by playing small roles in many Chicago TV Shows such as Empire, The Chi, Chicago PD, & Shameless not to mention cameos on other projects filmed by Netflix & HBO. Rasta has also become a household name by surrounding himself with many stars such as: Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, G Herbo, Polo G, Young Chop, Anthony Anderson (Actor), Taraji P. Henson (Actress), and “Hakeem” (Actor) from the hit TV show ‘Empire’ to name a few.

Upcoming Chicago Artist, KT Rasta, began participating in rap battles while still in High school. He would often skip class to do them in the cafeteria, hallways, and even in locker rooms. Being featured on many TV shows in the buzzing city of Chicago, Illinois would soon become a self-proclaimed trophy for the upcoming star.
