Montreal, Qc, Canada — Friday, April 2nd, 2021 — LAURIA’s BLOOM is her first EP, produced by the New Yorker Shae Buttah. This collection of work, all written by LAURIA herself, tell a story of love, genuine and truthful love accompanied by soft and modern R&B melodies. LAURIA both showcases the confidence of a proud woman owning her sensuality and vulnerability of giving oneself to devotion and passion.

Aficionados of neo soul and alternative R&B won’t be disappointed by these pieces. LAURIA has worked more than a year on this project of 4 creatively crafted songs. More than excited to finally be heard she writes: “It was such an adventure to create and perfect this collection of works over the last year. 2020 can only be described for me as a rollercoaster of events and emotions. Creating this EP in the ups and downs of this ride wasn’t always easy, but we came out stronger and humbled by our experience.”

BLOOM’s launch will also be accompanied by a her second music video, featuring one of the EP’s songs, Carefully. The video sets the tone for LAURIA’s aesthetic, a black and white soft fantasy of sensuality and art. She uses her flamenco background to create beautiful visuals guaranteed to keep you hooked for the entire song.

ABOUT

Florie-Laure “LAURIA” Zadigue Dubé is a Canadian and French citizen singer. In the summer of 2019, she presented her first solo show presenting LAURIA on the stage of the Petit Campus in Montreal. The success of the show lead to a collaboration with the Chinese giant SHEIN. In October 2019, she performed three evenings at Paris Fashion Week for their fashion show, as well as for two other events in front of influencers from all over the world.

LAURIA’s style ranges many genres and sound, but her latest work can be described as alternative pop and neo soul.
