ABOUT
Theta’s journey into the realm of music began at the tender age of seven with the piano, a journey that has seen him grace stages from the age of 19 to 54. His musical career is marked by a diversity of experiences, from playing in local rock bands like Bunker and Martirs 37, to cover groups such as Notorious, Fulano Mengáno y Sótano, and Red Music. However, it is in dance orchestras like California, Reserva 69, and Orquesta Galatea where Theta spent most of his career. Yet, beneath the surface of these collaborative endeavors, Theta harbored a personal project, one that sought to transcend the boundaries of traditional music.
Approximately 30 years ago, Theta embarked on a solitary quest under the moniker Theta, crafting a demo of 10 songs that, despite its lack of initial success with record labels, remained a testament to his unique vision. It wasn’t until four years ago, weary of performing others’ compositions and yearning for a return to his creative roots, that Theta decided to revive his project.
