Yung dashiki

my name is Yung Dashiki, an 18 year old artist residing in Ontario, Canada but before that I was the new kid in a small elementary school in St cathartines, Ontario. Leading up to this I was never in a stable environment my family and I had moved around the world all my life from Arlington, Texas (where I was born) , England to Zimbabwe in Southern Africa where my family comes from. Every place gave me different experiences and a different outlook on life. Its safe to say nothing in my life has ever been set in stone friendships never lasted long, I never got attached to the concept of relationships and I always felt misunderstood, so art was always something I turned to to express myself, when I was a lot more introverted visual art was my medium of choice then as I grew older music conformed in my spirit more and it became my new drug of choice. I've been hooked for almost 3 years and I don't see myself slowing down anytime soon. My music is an amalgamation of every story and everything I've witnessed so in a way my own story and the story of my music is one in the same.
