Warren 'DJ Warren Waxx' Spears Born August 20th, 1983, Meriden, Connecticut... Reppin- Meriden/Waterbury At the tender young age of three, Warren's passion to become a DJ began. By the age of seven, he was already picking up on things from watching his step father (also a DJ) go to work. DJ Warren Waxx has been doing his thing for about 18 yrs now. From Cousin Larry's 'Enter the Cypher' back in the day in Danbury to every other month at the Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport. Warren Waxx was part of a crew of about 20 ppl bot individual artists & groups called the AntFarm Affiliates (AFA) that held their finale show & disbanded in October of 2012. Specializing in Underground Hip Hop but a very talented & versatile group, all ready to work. One of the things that makes Warren different is his diversity. Not only does he DJ, he writes, produces, raps, sings & is nice at beat boxing! So he's bringing all that to the table in his craft. I have been DJing since 7 years old, beatboxing since 12, writing rhymes since roughly 14 or 15 off & on, self-taught in-house production since 20. I have had the opportunity as a kid, to open for quite a few Hip-Hop artists & DJs such as Keith Murray, Doug E. Fresh, The Late Biz Markie, amongst many others and many DJs such as DJ Kurupt, The World Famous DJ Brucie B, The Late DJ Luvbug Starski, amongst many others.
