Trent Slatton

Composer, singer and songwriter Trent Slatton is a self contained music production entity.

Starting out as a musician he transformed himself into a recording engineer and producer with diverse pop, rock and jazz artists artists ranging from the Ramones to Rod Stewart to Buddy Guy.

Besides capturing performers of other artists, Trent’s vocals and programming have enhanced numerous artist that he has worked with.

During a hiatus from recording other’s music, Trent started stretching his wings as a composer and performer.

His stylings are predominantly in the rock/alt rock genre, however he is in now way limited to just that style of music and is equally adept in programming and electronic music.

Drawing on classic influences like Pink Floyd and Roxy Music, Trent’s music can be summed up as atmospheric soundscapes that sometimes go bombastic, with subtle guitar work as a foundation for suave vocals that are delicately delivered.

Definitely more in the vein of British music, not by design, but more from lifelong influences of mood, attitude and texture.
