Stars In the Day
AlternativeAbout
A 16 year old teen heard Mutemath's self-titled album and was immediately inspired to pick up a microphone and star singing. This teen was Raymond Amparan, singer and guitarist for Stars In the Day. The other half of Stars In the Day, Raul was just 13 years old when he sat behind a drum set for the first time and began grooving. He was heavily inspired by James Owen 'The Rev' Sullivan from Avenged Sevenfold. These two friends met each other through a mutual friend and their bond was quite unmatched. They were buds for about a year until Ray approached Raul with a song now known as "Could Have Lied" and was nervous as Raul was known to be a metal drummer with heavy taste and not into alternative all too much as far as Ray was concerned. As soon as Raul heard the first few seconds was immediately impressed by Ray's work and agreed to work together and form Stars In the Day.
