Sherslie Carla Jean, a Haitian- American singer, songwriter, performer, and actress was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. As an adolescent, Jean was exposed to a vast array of music from Haitian Gospel to Hip Hop due to her father being a promoter for Haitian Gospel music. Music is a passion of Jean’s as her pursuit of the craft began when she was 14 years of age. In high school, Jean traveled all around the country singing pop and contemporary hits with her high school choir . During her last year of high school, Jean became the team officer of her poms team, and after became a lead vocalist in the Urban Nation choir. Sociable, dependable and creative are just a few characteristics that describe Sherslie Jean, but music is what drive her to continue to strive for greatness.
