SEVERE

Severe was born and raised in the streets of Dallas. Just at the age of 14 Severe started rapping with the influence of both Tupac and his now deceased Grandmother. Severe was acquainted with the streets at an early age, causing him grow up too quickly. He made some mistakes that normally no child would have to concern themselves with at that age. This caused a weight on his shoulders and stress early in life. However even though he faced this adversity early in life, it made him strong, and more determined to make this life better.

At the age of 16, Severe started to develop his career and take his art more seriously than ever. He became a part of the group and began to do small performances. Due to things not working out with them, Severe and the group parted ways. After the split, Severe saw a change in his career as an artist. All his investment began to come back to him quicker and larger than before, Severe had made the right choice.

In 2009, Severe had his first mixtape party and several fans came out to show their love to him. He became bombarded with so many opportunities that he took to his advantage. He opened for a variety of artist like Lil Flip, Trap Stars, Fat Bastard, Mr. Pookie, Mr. Lucci, Dj Michael Watts and many more. Only about a year later Severe opened his studio, Versatile Dreams, to further his dedication to music, and helping other achieve their dreams. However, having his own studio wasn’t enough. He soon fell back into the music like never before to fulfill his dream.

Severe began to have many performances throughout DFW Area and Austin. Even though life was working out for him, Severe was hit hard with the passing of his brother in 2014. This sent Severe reeling to cope with the loss. Realizing that he had nieces and nephews that look up to him, Severe bounced back harder. Every step he took he moved further toward his goal. As continued his career, he saw the “every man for himself” attitude. People he personally knew were unwilling to help him and realized that no one could have his back like he could. He began to apply his knowledge from the studio and working to his advantage. He began to gain momentum and it doesn’t show any signs of stopping. His talent his unlike any other and just needs the right exposure; all though that doesn’t look that fair behind.
