Hello,

My name is George Setka and I’ve been a singer song writer since I was 12 years old. I wrote a lot of music when I was younger but starting in December of 2009 I really started writing a lot now if I pick up the guitar I write a tune every time. My Engineer Patrick Burkholder would come in the morning and say what are you working on and I would present him three to six songs I wrote the night before, he was amazed.

A few years back I was traveling to Croatia to see some of my family members, I went to Guitar Center to see my friend Seth Bass at GC Pro who I work with as a vender, I told him I wanted a small travel guitar, he suggested a Guitarele Half Guitar/ Half Ukulele. I took it with me and when I was in a little city called Banj on the Island of Pasman, my room there had a window and at night it directly showed a view of a white lighted Church on the hill, I then started writing all these songs I couldn’t stop. Songs and styles I never thought were possible to write and completely different than my regular song writing style. I was pumping them out one after another, most of the songs I wrote at that time are on the Southbound CD were all written then. I was excited to get home and start recording!

When I came home it was crazy I started writing other songs on any Guitar I picked up. I felt so blessed! Songs came pouring out of my soul, I went from Heavy Metal, to Beatles, Led Zeppelin, to Country and Southern Rock, sounding songs. The Feels Like Summer, Born in Dixieland, Reign of Fire and Dream World were all recorded at the same time. I had many songs with different music genres I wanted to complete them all quick so I could get to all the other batches of songs. I’ve been having a blast and the music is coming out great with new music on it’s way now. I feel I’m really blessed as the group of musicians I work with are are top notch, kind and loving and all in this for the music first. Everyone I work with now brought fun and love back to creating and recording music together. There inputs to the songs means a lot to me as we really work well together and I learned a lot by working with them. These are great musicians from all around the world with their finger prints in all the music here you can listen to here today. I’m very excited about the future and I hope you’ll get a chance to hear some of my songs and I hope you like them.
