Good God Father

There's more than one way to read Good God Father, yet, there's only One Way that reaches in All directions for a solid presentation of truth, pain, love, loss, past and future. Dedicated to the real and raw nature of music that transcends loves lost and found, wars ended and on going, stories of our time, to bring everything together under a shared record of what can't be taken away.
Emanating from the prayers and musings of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, Sean Lewis (aka Xwan Solo), the band, as it is known, takes on whatever incarnation as deemed necessary meet the requirements of the environment. At the end of the day, that means little treasures of mementos, trinkets, souvenirs, motions, music, song, and imagery that searches and seeks to keep the forms and patterns anyone can recognize that give us a means of protecting ourselves from the misfortunes of corruption.
After years playing in the local Oregon music scene under the former monikers, Masonic Weird, Auburn, and Martyred Whitmans, Xwan, along with a handful of friends, felt the pressure of the unfolding internet music phenomenon, forcing the group to pause, and look inward to find a different perspective that would give reason to pursue the craft.
After 5 years of deliberation, life pushed on, with friends forming families, and Xwan's own famliy to care for, the calling never left for him. The pounding thud of the drums still pulverized his thoughts as part of the fabric that looms the tapestry of current events. So the factory has fired back up, by the Will that Animates all of Life, to churn out and produce streams of tracks that are expected to instill and nourish a fervent impression on listeners with an impact that will make contact to the Energies by which Good God Father plans to propagate and cultivate through sounds, stories, songs and icons that unite, insight, and elevate.
Xwan, takes in the treasures of rock music performance that have marked the 20st Century, and brings in to focus the heart of the first century, A.D./B.C., showing the ties that bind, and a river that weaves the flow of history in to the moments where miracles can happen. This takes the shape of recorded digital media distributed via the world wide web, as well as live stage performance.
