Sandra Beth SB Mackhigh Stanton

SB began singing in 1993. Her official debut in July 1994 skyrocketed her from being a complete unknown to TV host and star of her own country music show in a matter of 4 years. Her rapid ascent in the music industry had folks claiming she was a rising star. Over the 29 years of her career, SB has been chosen as a top vocalist, has toured, been scouted for modeling & TV, opened for many music legends in Canada, been the Host/ Performer of her own TV Show, was on the US TV Show “Lucifer”, and has performed at the same venues as Nashville stars Ronnie Prophet, Lacey J Dalton, Rex Allen Jr. and David Frizzell.

In 2019, SB established a team of well known Canadian rock musicians & has since added some Nashville pros to record her original songs. SB co-writes with veteran producer Ray Roper (Stonebolt) who is also her producer and since Nov 2019 they have been releasing her original music. All the songs are on the radio in Scotland, Ireland, England, USA, Australia, Belgium & Canada.

In 2021, SB's songs earned 8 nominations at The International Red Carpet Awards in Holland for Country Song of the Year, Original Country Rock Song, Original Country Pop Song, Original Rock Song, Original Christmas Song, Song of The Year All Genres, Female Voice of the Year All Genres & Female Songwriter of the Year. SB took the top prize for Female Songwriter of the Year.

On May 16, 2021 SB's song “Husband John“ earned a Josie Music Awards nomination in the USA for Song of the Year in the Southern Rock Country category. The song features Ray Roper (Stonebolt) Gary Lalonde (Honeymoon Suite) Randy Gabel (Darby Mills Project) & Rick Fedyk (Paul Rodgers Band).

In 2022, SB received 9 nominations for the international Red Carpet Awards and is presently waiting to see if she has received any nominations in The Josie Music Awards 2022. Two new singles have been released in 2022 and 3 more are expected later this year. SB is also an A&R Rep for the Canadian Division of MC1 Nashville Record Label.
