Pop musician Richard Smith-Beverly hopes to inspire Americans to get out and vote with his new single and music video “American Made”.  Richard's worked with musicians from all around the country on this single from Nashville to New York to Los Angeles. The musicians you can hear on the record are Andrew Middleton (Guitar, Bass, & Drums), Nathaniel Wolkstein (Strings), Matt Giella (Horns), and Ethan Rose (Mixing & Mastering)."America Made" takes the listener on a delightful journey showcasing Richard's well-crafted arranging skills, including crisp guitar, soaring strings, vibrant horns, rich and hypnotic backing vocals and of course Richard's ethereal voice, which spans many octaves throughout the song. The new music video for "American Made" is available to view on YouTube.
Richard's recent accomplishments include a successful worldwide radio campaign of his song "Christmas Is Only Christmas With You" with Stephen Wrench of Musik & Film, radio programmers across the U.S. and abroad added it to their rotations. Richard's released a dance remix of the Beatles classic "Yesterday" on Spotify. Richard's also collaborated with Russian Sound Designer & Electronic Composer, Roman Olegov, on his cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You". Last year, Richard teamed up with Danish producer Laitos for a remix of "Christmas Is Only Christmas With You", releasing a lyric video on YouTube, and releasing a Spanish version of the song as well.

A Maryland native, Richard Smith-Beverly is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he frequently gave solo recitals and was a featured vocalist with the school's choirs. He is a product of the Philadelphia school of musicians having studied with composers and musicians Chuck Butler, Rick Hall, Annette DiMedio, and Jeff Kern while attending the University of the Arts. While attending college, Richard's songwriting was recognized numerous times with certificates from the Billboard Song Contest for his craftiness and songwriting ability. In Philadelphia, Richard performed as a featured artist at such venues as the Merriam Theatre, the Arts Bank, and the Rotunda, as well as with the University of the Arts school choir, jazz choir, and other local Acapella groups.

Richard is currently putting the finishing touches on his new EP "American Made" which includes arrangements of classic patriotic songs as well as some original patriotic songs he penned himself. The music video for his latest track "American Made" is currently on YouTube and it's garnering great feedback from fans. "American Made" is Richard's biggest production to date, featuring live strings, horns, and a guitar-based rhythm section. "American Made" is a patriotic, inspirational, and uplifting song and is available digitally on all platforms including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, & Tidal. The patriotic EP entitled "American Made" is slated for release late November 2020.
