QL Of Landfill is a Rapper/Musician/Sound Engineer from Vancouver, BC who has been making music for nearly 20 years (since 2003). He has a lyrical/conscious style mixed with a passion to sing as well as a clear rock/rap influence with a primary focus on creating music with a message, a comedic element or a powerful emotion driving it. QL works closely with Alpha Omega of Landfill Entertainment behind his production. At 16 he taught himself music theory while learning piano and later on picked up the guitar while writing a 100 page book on music theory (transferring what he knew from piano to the guitar) completely from memory while in an Australian prison just so he could continue to write during an unfortunate period of life. He has since built his studio (after 4 years) and been accepted by the Canada Arts Council as a professional musician and is pursuing his career full time.
