Po’Styll

Born and raised in Northern VA, Leesburg for the most part, I've been a hip hop fan as long as I can remember. At one point I figured that if I could rap other artists songs then why not write and rap my own? I've been writing and recording since, this was in 1996. During a 9 year prison sentence I met Los who turned me into the three-headed monster that I am today by teaching me the ART of producing beats. So I'm a writer, rapper, producer and still a fan but I prefer the old school hip hop. I met my business partner and 'brother' J Da Prophet (coming soon on Til The Death of Me Records) during this time as well. Not only did we hone our skills but we refined our minds as well which is why artists today are just now touching on what we were rapping about back in 2012. My influences come from all over, i.e:

Hov, Em, Nas, Wu, Weezy, Kxng Crooked, K Dot, NWA, Lecrae, City Morgue, Audioslave, Aerosmith, Rush, Nirvana, Etc. For me personally; my music is more about the message, not trying to fit into the stereotype given to minorities.
