Barr has steadily written, played, and produced his own original music.  His Songs are sometimes vocal in calling for Unity, and Peace. While others are instrumental in giving you the refreshing feeling of an Ocean's gentle mist on a hot summer's day. Barr continues to break new ground as an innovative Drummer, Steel Pan Player, and Vocalist and Composer..

In 2011, Barr wrote and performed the musical score for the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway theater production Drawn and Quartered, presented at Intar theater in New York.

Barr cites some of his musical influences to be; Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cheap Trick, Boukman Eksperyans, Anthony Cedras , Frisner Augustin, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, Ravi Shankar, David Byrne/Talking Heads, David Bowie, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Mighty Sparrow, Lord Kitchener, Gregory Issacs, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and The Universal Spirit Within..
