Noshi

“My name is Noshi, I was born in New Orleans, LA, but raised in Violet.  My first experience as an artist was freestyling with my cousin back in the day. I struggled at first but big bro came to the rescue. He put on some Notorious BIG. and told me to rap to it. Once I started, he cut the music off and I kept going. When I got to a stopping point he asked me what would I say on this song. The rest is history.

My influences are Ab-Soul and the rest of TDE, Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Kanye West, and Tyler the Creator. I also listened to some reggae and rock back in the day.

I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do. I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error, and self-learning studying the works of the aforementioned artists that influenced me. I have been teaching myself mixing and mastering as well as beat making. All in all, I love music and live to create!
