Murcii Cumn A.K.A Dion Made Tha Beat is not only a music Artist, but a Music Producer as well with an unbelievably new sound in the Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding area. Born Dion Du’Bignon on December 27, 1989 in Jacksonville, Fla. Dion knew he would later in life become a musician. Since the age of 3 years young he had developed a love for music Crediting his grandmother, (Jean-Etta du'Bignon) who had first bought him a hand held boom box. Like most, Dion was raised in the church and attended Choir rehearsal weekly! In elementary school He would get into trouble with his teachers for beating on the desks & rappin while teaching was in progress. From 6th-12th grade he was the kid everyone looked for to beat on the cafeteria tables for the freestyle sessions during lunch. He knew he had found his Voice through his then tappings on the table. At the age of 16 he was introduced to Fruity Loop 7 which now today is known as Fl Studio 20, by good friend known as “Knot” (Fellow producer out of Lakeland FL); Not obtaining the program until becoming acquainted with 93.3 The Beat’s very own Jeremy Wilson in the summer of 2007. His inspirations then began to come from some of the greatest of all time including Zaytoven, Mike-will-made it, Johnny Juliano, Scott Storch, Kanye, J.Cole, Timberland, Tumps (T.I.’s Producer) Mannie Fresh, Brian Michael Cox, Pharrel and More. Even though at this time Dion and friend Jay were working at T-Mobile in Orange Park mall, Dion knew he would be a major asset in the music industry of Jacksonville, Fla. He since then has worked with many great underground artist including but not limited to Nard from Mob squad, Deyvid, MCMusik, Solja K, Mizzy Raw, Maine SFSG, Locuhtelli, Broadway Louie, Kilo Murkem, Bocaj Kxxzii, and More. In his interview Dion stated his drive and determination comes from being a father of 4. “Not having my Father around as I would have liked to, and wanting to one day be my own boss is what motivated me to grind harder!"
