About our head manager: Annie Hardknox aka Tasha Ann Burnett was born and raised in South Side Jamaica Queens NY she fell in love with Hip Hop at a very young age starting with graffiti tagging her name on the school hallway walls to train stations, popping and locking to beatboxing also deejaying (DJ Dutchis). At 23 Annie started a record company with Detroit native Luca (Eric Johnson) Brasci Hardheaded Entertainment in The Bronx NY, after several years of the hustle and bustle that landed them a deal with Universal Records through Alize Ent./ El Black-O- Productions, while joining Sic Click and being a member of 3 female rap group ICU (Illegal Cash Unit) with Mentality and Tammy Yams of Brooklyn, NY, Annie managed several rap artist from NY to Kansas City when all failed she decided to pick up the m.i.c. in 1999 going solo 2009 she joins the movement with Big Foot CEO of Swamp City Music. From cameos in a few underground Hip Hop music videos to air on Video Music Box to YouTube her video single “Far Gone” (produced and written by herself) featuring Leland McLaughlin and Taniqua Lyon, earned the Akademia Music Award for Best Rap / Hip-Hop Song for ‘Far Gone! (2017). She has also toured with super dancer Ms. Dee of Married 2 tha Music and works closely with her entertainment production company. Annie has made a name for herself in the underground Hip Hop world from gangsta to gospel rap Ms. Hardknox recorded in Axxan Studios with her Dad John Smith (producer of many jazz and gospel projects with John P Kee and JJ Hairston) FMR Studios with Elus Grammy Award-winning engineer, No Mystery Studios (engineer Chris Conway credits Notorious BIG, DMX, Nore and much more) in SOHO NYC, Krematorium Studio with platinum engineer Michael Ashby of Bodak Yellow and Motor Sport to Sony Studios. Giving up the life of crime and giving her life to Christ 5 felonies later she landed an internship at Def Jam Records. She went from gangsta to gospel and proclaims to be the Yolanda Adams of Hip Hop today. Working with CEO Dad Rich of Circle Of Trust, Kurt of The Hip Hop Culture Center, and Uncle Ralph of VMB and Hot 97, she has been rewarded the 2011 Rapathon's "Go Hard" award and became a 3 year rap vet member of Rapathon's Alumni. She studied Audio Engineering with the Master Engineer Robert Honablue (62 gold and platinum records) of CBS to Motown Records, for which she is now a Certified Audio Engineer Assistant. Annie also studied at BRIC Media company and now is a certified community TV producer @ BRIC TV and nominated Emmy Award TV Network also Studying music at Nyack Christian College earning 63 credits and with two official mixtapes under her belt "Total Recall" (bad gurl gone good) & recent BACKSTAGE BAPTISM God is blessing her with an audience from all facets of the world. Working with beat makers Cover, Powersol, BlackTracks to Grammy Award winner Joeworn Martin and Von Solo she's creating a sound of her own. She has performed in the Liz Black Variety Artist Showcase, Hip Hop Culture Center in Harlem, SOB's, Speed night club, Jacob Jarvis Center for Circle of Sister, Taj Mahal restaurant and party hall to Far Rockaway beaches to block parties to local churches in the Tri-State area and working with BTSM promotions. She managed Vahhley a candidate in American Idol. Annie has executive produced “Have I Ever Lied” by Don C R&B sensation of South Carolina and Atlanta. Also creating an all-female power group Team Amazon to becoming Urban Music Director of G.C.P. and 9 years faithful member @ Love Fellowship Tabernacle The Kingdom Church with Senior Pastor Bishop Hezekiah Walker, becoming a choir member (recording with him, singing on his hit single “Better”) as well and Spoken Word Artist, she is prepared to bring Gods word forward. and owner and founder of Murchant Management LLC a Multi-Media and Music company. The company’s name is named after her late first cousin Killa Koz whose rap name was Mr. Murchandice the dirty Murchant. She is now working with Ahmed Rodriguez of Power is Industry showcases and DJ Reymo of Power 105 New York’s # 1 radio station for R&B and Hip Hop. Annie has teamed up with V Dot is Hot (celebrity masseuse) and DJ Frank White of Unsigned Hype Magazine & podcast on several projects as a project manager. She is currently co-managing Mob Flexx with Mentality (mother), Jah Rocket (cousin), and Madame Lady D and working closely with her family (cousins Von Solo, D Stack, and young brother $JMoney$) to build an empire of Legends.
