Moonshine Mollys

Best friends Cassandra Smith and Breanna Nixon have been singing together since 2018, starting as an eight piece cover band performing festivals and venues on Vancouver Island. When the world took a turn in 2020 Moonshine Mollys made the decision to become a female country duo.  Seeing an opportunity to find their voice and sound as singer songwriters and independent recording artists they dove right in.They wasted no time writing and recording their original music. Their repertoire now consists of original country music with blues and folk elements. Along with a variety of 90’s and old country classics. 



After the duo had written and recorded their six song EP. In the summer of 2022, the duo released their debut single, TIME followed by the Fall release of their second single, BY THE RIVERS EDGE. With the EP, titled TIME set to be released Spring 2023. At the moment, they are writing “Love Songs” for their follow up EP. The chemistry between Nixon and Smith is undeniable. These two are genuine and down to earth with a great sense of humour. Bringing relatable stories that win you over, even if you are not a country fan.
