Mike the Elder began playing music at the age of 3 beating on buckets in the back of his grandmother's garden and started playing the keyboard in the House of God Church by the age of 10. Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida from the gang infested streets of the 123st project and introduced to the street life by the age of 13. Although Mike grew up in the church, he soon found himself DJing in local night clubs at the age of 16.

By 2003, Mike grew tired of the lifestyle that he was leading
and was determined to achieve a greater purpose in life. He relocated to Orlando, Florida with his wife and kids in pursuit of a better life but that still was not enough. Longing for change, Mike Joined Mount Sinai Holy Temple under the leadership of the late Ruby M. Johnson. While at Mount Sinai, Mike was taught the role of Pastorship and was later ordained as a Minister and later the Asst. Pastor. In 2010 Mike became the Pastor of R M Johnson Holy Temple. In 2012, Mike became the Associate Minister at Deliverance Ministries By Faith Under the leadeship of Sr. Pastor Sabrina and Bishop Wallice Livingston. In 2015, Mike completed The Kingdom Alliance Leadership Academy and recieved a certificate in Biblical leadership and was also ordained as an Elder. Mike is currently the minister of music at Inspired Word of Faith Mnistries in Orlando FL
