Suzanne's Band

Native Texan Mia Suzanne Walker formed Indie-Pop group Suzanne’s Band in 2017. Going back and picking up on the piano lessons from youth and adding on the guitar in adulthood, expanded her capabilities for the creation of the first EP Breathe released on November 20, 2017. Singing in church and leading worship, choirs and musicals throughout junior high and high school, plus performing with various adult music groups provided the springboard needed for a project such as this. “It seemed like the right time to put down some of those life experiences through music and share them with the world.” Being an America’s Got Talent tryout contestant in 2016 and 2017 built confidence and a realization that there was indeed a niche for the music style being created. Music influences for the first EP are a mix of 60’s to the 90’s classic rock and pop.
